Product Marketing Manager

The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) is a technologist who works as a part of the product management team reporting to the Chief Product Officer. The PMM will work with a cross-functional team to ensure that the products that we bring to market are successful in a wide variety of customer engagements, be a technical expert, and have the ability to clearly articulate the technical differentiators of our products.

The PMM must be a technical expert. The PMM will work with our sales teams, and partners, develop technical competitive collateral, and be able to highlight Diffusion’s technical capabilities. The PMM must be a self-starter, with a willingness to execute independently, and help cross-functional teams.


  • - Create content to support content marketing and GTM strategy. Some examples of content include technical white papers, customer case studies, Industry solution brief, evaluation guides, application notes, presentations, videos and demonstration for Diffusion® Intelligent Event Data Platform and solutions.
  • - Support market and technical competitive analysis in support of Product Strategy/Roadmap and Marketing/Sales activities.
  • - Build and maintain a demonstration environment for Diffusion®.
  • - Support sales and marketing efforts as required. Some travel required to support field and marketing activity.​
  • - Support product launch activities and assist with Tradeshows, Conferences and Technical Sales Training or Channel Partner Training activities.
  • - Respond to customer or field inquiries, assist with Technical RFP’s and work with a cross functional team of PMs, SEs and Engineers as required


Essential Requirements

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience with messaging platforms, event brokers, event-driven architectures, microservices or the broader enterprise software solutions.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills required.
  • Customer and field experience is a MUST.
  • Software development or scripting capabilities required.
  • A BS (business, marketing, or engineering preferred)
  • Team player that works well in collaborative situations and start-up environments.
  • Natural leadership skills and the ability to work with all teams in the company.

Nice to Haves

In addition to the above it would be advantageous for candidates to have some knowledge of the following:

  • Prior experience as a PMM or Sales Engineer is preferred
  • Engaging with developers on a developer community portal
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Software Solutions for a specific industry vertical
